How to calculate CPM
CPM means cost per mille, or cost per one thousand impressions. It is commonly used to compare the price of display, video, social media, and awareness advertising.
A campaign costing $2,500 and delivering 500,000 impressions has a CPM of $5.00. In other words, each block of 1,000 impressions costs $5.

CPM measures cost per 1,000 impressions. CPC measures the average cost for each click.
